The Process: What to Expect

We will spend time with you evaluating what you truly are looking for in a home. We will do this prior to a tour so as not to waste your time driving all around town seeing properties that don’t meet the majority of criteria on your “perfect home” checklist, such as size, style, location and price. Once you identify the basic criteria that you are looking for, we will educate you on searching the Multiple Listing Service and other internet search sites that we believe represent the market in a current and accurate manner.

Finding the Perfect Property

Once we’ve identified potential properties, we will set a convenient time to view them. We will happily work with your schedules and understand that you have a life outside of home buying! We will accommodate your needs, whether that includes a car full of kids or your need to stop mid-tour to take a conference call.


When time allows, we will preview the home to assure that it is in good condition and truly has what you are looking for in a home. We understand that your time is very important, and promise to work efficiently and effectively. We also promise to respect your price range. If you have not been prequalified for a loan, we will recommend lenders with values and work ethic that match ours.


Negotiation is a path to a successful close. There is an art to keeping both sides in the game. This is where our deep experience and collaborative approach begins. We advise you where to give and where to hold the line. This is when the anxiety can become high for buyers, and our job is to explain each step as we go through the process and educate you on how to make an effective offer.


We work with title and escrow officers that are highly respected in the industry. We work as a team to guide you through the entire closing process once your home is under contract. We also work with your loan officer or banker to ensure that financing conditions are met in a timely manner.
