About Sisters

Named for the trio of mountain peaks to the west,  Sisters (pop. 2,472) is a vibrant, artsy community with a charming western small-town ambiance.  Once a lumber producing town, Sisters is now known as the Gateway to the Cascades and is home to the world-renowned Sisters Quilt Festival, Sisters Folk Festival and the Sisters Rodeo. The downtown area has been transformed, and today Sisters is recognized as a unique place to shop with its many specialty stores and galleries.

Beautiful estate homes, golf and resort communities, secluded cabins or family-friendly neighborhoods are all available in this community. Whether you enjoy rodeos, mountain climbing, fly fishing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, rafting, skiing or snowmobiling you’ll find it in the Sisters area.
